PDO Threads
PDO Threads
PDO (Polydioxanone) thread is a safe and effective option for lifting and stimulating collagen. These threads will become fully absorbed by hydrolysis in the body within 4-6 months, leaving behind collagen bands for continued rejuvenation. Because of this, hydrolysis will not create scar tissue. This new skin structure and collagen formation last, on average, about 12-15 months. Many individuals who want to stay on top of their new lift will have maintenance threads performed every 6-8 months.
PDO threads are a safe and non-surgical approach to lifting and tightening the skin. A PDO Thread Lift can be used almost anywhere on the body, but works best on the face and neck in areas including:
- The lower face
- The midface
- Lower jowls/smile-line
PDO threads are also used to
- Define and sharpen the jawline
- Lift neck skin
- Reduce the appearance of cellulite
- Lift and define the buttocks (non-surgical BBL)
